What engines swap into a 96 Accent easily?
hahaha gotta love the internet rumor mill..
i think jeff was saying it mighta got wrecked.. AFTER he sold it. but i dunno, i saw it around after i saw posts about it being wrecked. but haven't seen it lately.
i dunno why he sold it, but he kept the s/c stuff only cus the kid who bought the car couldn't foot the bill. .. man id have had him take the spoiler rims and any of that other **** off before the s/c!

You can get into the 15's without a swap or turbo. You do need lots of work done though. Polished intake manifold, bbtb or modified tibby tb, true cool air intake, header, full flow cat, exhaust, low resist wires, good plugs, premium fuel, and really good driving. It may be easier to find the scoupe turbo... There is one i have on hold at a local junkyard. I'm not sure if i'm into the swap of someone elses nightmare though.

i did high 15's first time ever to the track with my 98 accent 1.5 sohc.
that was completely untuned, on shitty all seasons, running 6psi via a T15 and scoupe manifold with major traction issues.

this is an old one but I got mid to high 15 ( i think high is faster than low...lol) could have had a 15.2 at 6 psi if I was tuned right...damn car kept bogging shifting from first to 2nd...
