V6 in a 2000 Tiburon
The idea wasn't for transplanting the 6spd, it was that the Delta could be hooked up to our stock 5spd, since there is the 5spd version for the 2003. The question now is, is it the same tranny, if not, how much different is it?

Why try to make the BETA 5spd work, when you can just use the DELTas 5spd, also the gearing is geared for that engine.

I agree, if you buy the delta, you might as well get the tranny made for, and geared for that motor. (or the 6speed if once can be sourced).
Trying to make the linkage from the old 5 speed work, trying to bolt up the old 5 speed to the v6...it's just not worth the hassle, if you do the swap, do the whole swap and save yourself some headaches.
