the 4cyl turbo gen coupe engine is NOT i repeat NOT a theta engine. its a 4B11T. same engine used in the dodge caliber and mitsubishi evo x. plus, its RWD. theres no way in hell you are fitting it in the tib unless you completely re-do the front subframe, the firewall (have to cut it to fit the trans) the center of the car (to fit the driveshaft which sits higher) the ENTIRE rear subframe to fit a diff, the rear suspension (to fit RWD knuckles and axles) among many, many things. do a google search for the honda prelude RWD swap to see how intensive it is.
do it if you're your own welder, engineer, have 50 hours a week of free time, and have $10,000 spare cash.

It's well documented that it is NOT the 4B11T and that it is a Theta. Please don't spread misinformation.
Most automakers using common blocks can be mounted transversely or longitudinally, but it is currently not known whether it is true for the Theta.
There is a conversion kit for sale in Korea for $8k, but I don't know what trans is used.

well if you do this...do it right. dont waste your time aking it FWD...thats stupide get the entire car and have every peice of mechanical parts swapped...it can work, will work you just need the money to do it.
