Ive have done some digging and haven't seen anything specific to this combinations just yet. I have some history in the scene and have swap transmission and been in and out of my 01 tib more times than I can count. My current wildly far fetched idea is to get a hold of a totaled, but usable 04-10 Kia Sportage 2.0L beta 2 w/ awd manual trans or 05-09 Hyundai Tucson w 2.0L beta 2 w/ AWD manual trans and begin the costly task of swamping it over to my tiburon. I looked into this years and years ago and at the time the options where all DSM swaps . Some select few where able to pull it off. I am curious if any have swapped the specific swap I have mentioned successfully?


Truthfully it would be much easier to take all my engine mods and such and swap it to the Tucson/Sportage , but where is the fun in that...
