Tryin to find info on an eclipse motor swap into a 99 elantra. is it posible ifso what yr eclipse and what mds may be needed.

You may be under the impression that the two engines are bolt in replacements for each other. You are looking at doing a custom fab-up. You will also need all the mitsu's drive train and ecu. It would be cheaper to find out how to improve your beta.

It is possible, but not easy or cheap. The older elantras had mitsu motors but 1996 and newer are hyundai motors, so the swap is a major pain.

For the cost, you would be better off to improve the existing beta motor with a turbo charger.

the mitsu motor is backwards to ours, it won't even blot up, and to get it in you'll need to swap everything around in there.
