unless he runs no oil. having the gears splash oil all over causes a loss in hp at the wheels. Might pick up a hp or two... for a few minutes ... running it dry.

hmmm 9 trannys sounds like a whole lot. I got a lc2 alpha in mine and I love to drop my clutch and burnout. Haven't had an issue yet in over a year. It could be because of my bald tires. lol. The funny thing about the oil is I had a friend with a VW GTI I replaced a cv for him, told him to top up the oil on his way home, and he didn't. A week later he comes and tells me his transmission is grinding and klunking and can't drive. Apparently he thought the oil wasn't necessary. Now the car sits and rots. A shame. sorry the only advice is go elantra or tib tranny.
