engine swap
I never heard of a supercharged rotary.
only turbo.
Umm, Well you would have to find a fwd transmission for the rotary engine. As far as I know all the rotarys cars arw rwd. I understand mazda shares alo the deisgns between their cars and some fords, maybe you can find one.
I doubt it.

The engines are very compact so I would assume that it doesn't have to be mounted longitudinal.
The supercharged rotary (Mazda) is set up for use on a boat. I could post a pic you want.</div>Sounds interesting, I just looked into it and apparently there is a fair sized marine market for rotary engines. Do you know how much crank horsepower the supercharged unit is making?
I'm planning on a boat some day too, that setup would be awesome

If the problem is only mounting the rotary engine to the existing tranny someone could make an adaptor plate to mate both of them together...
an hybrid clutch disc will be needed too
One guy arond here owns a kit car with a cadillac STS engine (4.6 32 valves) with a Audi tranny to get a centrally mounted engine (just like the real car)
So it can be done for sure
