Default beta swap question

hi, all. so I bought a 1996 Hyundai accent, it has a blown engine and I am looking into a engine from a 1997 Hyundai elantra but, here is my question.

1. what will need to be swapped in terms of wiring, mounts?

2. in order to use my stock 1.5 standard transmission what flywheel, clutch will I need to use?

3. the donor elantra is a automatic can I use my stock ecu since mine is a standard?

Thanks for all your help in advance-Daniel

If you haven't, read jsharptooth's DIY. The main difference between his DIY and your project is that you will use the Beta ECU and it plugs right into your wiring harness.

You'll need to make a new passenger side engine mount.

You should be able to use the Elantra's ECU. I am not sure if you will have a CEL from the wrong type of BCM or if you'll have a high idle since you're not running a torque converter at idle. Hopefully someone who has run a manual trans on an auto ECM will chime in.

You'll want to use the Beta flywheel and a Scoupe Turbo clutch.
