Default What makes these spacers so much more expensive?

Invision sells spacers for over $100 for a pair

Why are they more expensive than say something like this?

I'm not knocking Invision because I know they sell great stuff. I'm just wondering thats all.

I'm personally not sure. Magnesium alloy vs. Aluminum? I honestly don't know what's better.

BUT... the eBay seller is able to sell these for $60, while covering shipping, eBay and Paypal fees, and still making a profit. So, you're looking at less than $40 of materials for 4 spacers with lug nuts, not to mention the labor involved in paying someone to make these.

I can barely find lug nuts for $40 that are worth a damn and don't bend after time. For something so crucial as the stud, spacer, and lug nuts that hold the weight of your vehicle and takes the turns that us self proclaimed racecar drivers take, I wouldn't take the cheap route.

H&R is made out of aluminum/magnesium alloy

Precision European ones are made of billet aluminum

I believe aluminum/magnesium is better and more expense.

+1

Magnesium is about twice as expensive as Aluminum (and weighs less) so that would increase the price too.

I trust H&R. I don't trust "Brand X".
