My problem was the downpipe scraping at the flex pipe (Turbo XS) when going over speed bumps, and I know others have had sway bars scraping before their oil pan would.

Wouldnt a skid plate under the car also work as a diffuser in a way also? It would serve double duty as a protector of your under carriage and stability/deflection of the wind.

Yup. And it would be even better if we could get one made for the rear bumper, since anyone with a single exit exhaust (or no muffler) turns the rear bumper into a parachute.

I've skid plates on my gen, steel about 0,6mm thick.
