I hope the engine is slitly tilted downward towards the rear of the car. It sure looks like an EGR valve right in the front right corner of the valve cover and if that is the case it could force oil back into the intake manifold on any hard left turns. If the engine is slightly tilted it would probably be enough to not allow oil to pool up in the front of the valve cover, and avoid issues with the PCV valve.
