Can someone tell me where I can route a power cable for an amp through the firewall? Is there a port already somewhere?

 

I don't know about your car, but the RD platform has a BIG hole on the inner fenderwell near the battery that lets you run wires to the firewall inside the fender, and then it's easy to use an existing penetration or make your own, to get even a pretty good size wire through the firewall.

I ran my #3 wire through the big hole and out the door sill about halfway at the passenger seat.

















For smaller wire I take the black plastic cap off the AC lines and put it though there. That comes out over the gas pedal.
