anyone ever replace their own lifters on a beta 1 and if so did u put the stock hydraulic lifters or put roller lifters becuz im replacing mine and would like to put the rollers in but dont know what i have to do. thanks
I have a diy on taking apart and cleaning the lifters. It quieted them down a lot.
Replacement lifters cost about $200 iirc. Or you could just swap to a Beta 2 non-cvvt head that already has solid lifters.

It's hydraulic (low maintenance, works ok enough for normal engines) or solid (requires clearance setting, can be spun faster). Both involve sliding contact with the cam. There is no conversion to roller anything in this valvetrain.
