My regular headlights work fine. I haven't had any issues with hooking my stock lights back up. So I don't think any fuses are blown. I have been driving the car for 3 days now since all this has happened and have had no issues.

Is there a way you can test them? Maybe test one at a time (without the OEM bulbs plugged). So the HID's just stopped working altogether? I'm out of options. Perhaps the ballast is fried from the first relay attempt, or bulbs blown... The thing that alerted me was the ticking noise and battery light and problems happening afterward. I really don't know what else!

I'm actually leaving for vacation on Friday so I won't be able to test anything until I get back 12 days from now. I can test the HIDs and the ballsts(after I get back) without the relay hooked up because without the relay the HIDs only work in accessory mode. That way I can rule out the ballsts and bulbs.
How would you test the fuse in the relay if the ballsts and the bulbs are fine?

HKC - just to clarify, the purpose of the relay wiring harness is so the bulbs aren't drawing power directly through the fuse box but rather directly from the battery.
I'm really confused. It seems to me that it should be working.

I try hooking it all back up again when I get back from my trip. I may ground the wires to a different location. See if that makes that difference. Thanks for all the help.

No idea how to test them, but I just plugged each one into one factory harness to see if they each lit up (with the car on). Good idea, try some good screws with good surfaces, metal to metal. If all fails, see if they work on your '08.
Do yourself a favor and try not to think about this on your vacation
It'll be there when you get back.
Yeah only the passenger one. The driver's one uses the factory harness. I've had NO problems for something like 5-6 years now
