Hyundai Elantra Forum The Hyundai Elantra Forum. Later models (96-up) of this 4-door share their Beta engines and chassis with the Hyundai Tiburon. Default Lowering srings for 02 Elantra

I'm currently looking to buy lowering springs for my 2002 Elantra (to get rid of the factory "lift" kit). I have used Eibach in the past on my other cars, but some people in my area (Halifax,N.S.) are doing a group buy on H&R springs. My question is this: On H&R's website, it list springs on the Elantra as fitting 97 up, but on Eibach's site, it lists the springs on the Elantra as 95-2000, and 2001 up as different part #'s. Do 97 up Elantra's use the same set up, or am to believe Eibach as saying the 2001 up models are different? Need some advice here, thanks.

I do believe that it is differnet. If you decide to get the Eibachs, what price can you get? We stock those as well.

Right now, it looks like around $390 Canadian, which I don't know what that would be exactly in US dollars. I'm thinking around $230 US or thereabouts.
