Hyundai Elantra Forum The Hyundai Elantra Forum. Later models (96-up) of this 4-door share their Beta engines and chassis with the Hyundai Tiburon. Earlier Mistubishi-based Hyundai Elantras (92-95) are perfect candidates for the popular 4g63t motor swap, which turns the Hyundai Elantra into a real sleeper. Hmm....they might fit. All the headers on Shark Racing fit at least a 2000 Elantra, so I'm assuming they should fit a 2k1 as well. Not entirely sure though. rolleyes.gif

Per sam they do NOT fit. I'm not 100% sure why yet. As soon as I get my hands on a 2001 Elantra, I plan on measuring out the bolts, bolt pattern, and bolt to under engine clearance to see if they will fit.

The Bolt pattern seems the same, it looks like the flex pipe of clearance under there is the problem, but the head is also different so maybe thers some thinf to the bolt patterent I can't see.
