I would look into brazing before trying soldering on steel, if you insist on trying to repair the tank.

tank replacement is last resort, i just wanna utilize what means and try all possible options before waving the white flag..so that way, others can avoid costly fuel tank replacements



i bought some "metal work" solder from bernzomatic and some water based Flux..will wait for my last application of jbweld to fail and grind it all down again to bare roughened metal.
