The Elantra 1.8L cam dyno'd a 2 Wheel HP gain. Judging by the specs on the Elantra GT cam, I would say it would be a 3-4 Wheel HP gain. Up to you if it is worth another $120 + install for another 1-2 HP.

I was curious too.....I have the 2001 tiburon (2.0 of course), I have a custom CAI, exhaust, and I ordered the GT cams, how much power will I get out of them? Will it be noticeable? Plus I also have a crank pulley on its way, I hope that will help too. What kinda specs do you think that GT will offer? eek.gif eek.gif

The intake cam should be the same or at least VERY little difference .. it's the exhaust cam on the GT that is different and will realisticly only help you to expel air from the engine and at that ... only if you have your header and exhaust system done.

Hehe, you seem a little messed up wink.gif You got it the opposite way...

The exhaust cam in the GT is actually "worst" (if I can say so) than the stock Tib exhaust cam. The INTAKE cam from the GT is what you want.

In fact, to get more power from a GT, you would have to swap it's exhaust cam for a Tiburon exhaust cam.
