elantra gt cam

i have a 01 elantra gls is there a difference in performance with the gt cam , if so what will it do

Not for you, because you already have the GT cam in your car..

Boy I wonder why a few of us want this to stop being called the "GT" cam rolleyes.gif Yes you already have the ELANTRA cam in your 2001 ELANTRA.

It's not your fault, it is the fault of all these people advertising it as the "GT" cam. Myself and a few other XD(2001+) Elantra owners have been fighting this for almost a year.

OK guys. The ones with the 2001+ elantra's especially the 2001's really have to do some reasearch on your cars.
Some of the GLS's from 7/2000 to 1/22/2001 had the old cam in them. The only way to make sure is that you run your VIN number at HMA.
