The would really be the ones to answer that question. The 1.8L beta and the 2.0L beta are carbon copies except for stroke and thus, compression ratio.

It should fit a 1.8L if it fits the 2.0L

kidd elantra....Yeah, it will fit! The same thing happened with a buddy of mine. He has the 1.8 too. He bought the dragon intake for the 2.0, and had me install it. Went on without any issues. Makes a nice growl sound too! Good luck.

Quicktib....yeah, it does come for the Tibby. I have it on mine. I got back when it was practically brand new on the market. I'm eventually gonna get a CAI, but for now, I like the looks and the sound of it. I don't have any pics as of yet. It's real easy to install, but the directions are a little confusing. If you have any questions, ask away and either myself or some of the other members will be able to help ya out. Good luck!

I also have installed a weapon-r in my Tibby and am pretty pleased with it. Didn't notice much if any change in HP but sounds really nice. Probably going to go with a CAI next year. Random or anybody, if I've already got this intake would it make much sense to switch to Shark racings new CAI. Would I notice a big change in HP and in YOUR opinion, would it be worth the extra dollars?

Hey CK! It does make a nice sound. Almost like an AEM on a civic. I'm in Mississauga, if you're gonna be in the cruise you'll see it. Or we can hook up some time so you can have a look at it. Let me know.
