Hyundai Elantra Forum The Hyundai Elantra Forum. Later models (96-up) of this 4-door share their Beta engines and chassis with the Hyundai Tiburon. Earlier Mistubishi-based Hyundai Elantras (92-95) are perfect candidates for the popular 4g63t motor swap, which turns the Hyundai Elantra into a real sleeper. Default Cat-BACK exhaust on my elantra WOOO HOO

Hey everybody, i went to the local muffler shop and i had the owner make me a custom fit 2 1/4 cat-back all the way out, including a standard $19 turbo muffler... ultra quiet, and ultra light, still flows 30% more than stock and weighs 80% less !!!!!!!! i paid $200 for everything installed and PERFECTLY fit.... (much cheeper than the speed state and i get to keep my backpressure for daily driving)

also, its a simple crush bend pipe system., yet, my car FLIES NOW!!! its a total awakening of power !!! my nose comes up higher than EVER when i spray..

(sorry, on motor its just a little more noticable in torque increase,, when i feather the gas, it pulls me harder than it used to) but its barely noticable ...

then, i hit the juice, and the car WAKES UP LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL !!!!!!! YEAH BABY YEAH !!!!!!!

its also really quiet, and has a nice low tone to it.. not a ricey sound at all...

my car had a big resonator, not a catalytic in the mid pipe section... also, there were two more resonatos down the pipe... so now they are all gone, and i got all the power i need to run mid to low 14's with the 80 shot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
