Hyundai Elantra Forum The Hyundai Elantra Forum. Later models (96-up) of this 4-door share their Beta engines and chassis with the Hyundai Tiburon. Earlier Mistubishi-based Hyundai Elantras (92-95) are perfect candidates for the popular 4g63t motor swap, which turns the Hyundai Elantra into a real sleeper. Default Blue Elantra?

A long time ago, on the TeamSR messageboards, someone posted a link to a picture of a 2000 Elantra. It had a custom flaked blue pearl paint job, and the JT bodykit. I believe it was a korean website or something along those lines. Anyone have that picture on hand or know where I could get it?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Umm... Thats a 2001-2002 Elantra with a Zefiro kit... not a 2000 with the JT kit... maybe he was confused and thats what he was looking for, maybe not... although I've never seen one like what he described...

Just wondering...why do guys stuff cotton balls (or similar material) around their car???? Is that really suspposed to impress anyone (or judges)????

I just can't see anyone (or a show judge) giving a car an extra point/vote or two just because of the cotton balls...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>Just wondering...why do guys stuff cotton balls (or similar material) around their car???? I personally think it looks like crap... and no the judges hate that stuff, they don't see a point in it and most of the times feel they're there to hide stuff you don't want them to see, for those that put it in the engine bay, maybe cause you're stock...

I just can't see anyone (or a show judge) giving a car an extra point/vote or two just because of the cotton balls... </div>It depends really. Some people will do it and place the cotton around their rims to highlight the rims. You see alot of people with Chromies doing it. People in the lowrider community will do it more than anyone else, mainly because they're all about glitz and looking good. Doesn't exactly mean it's tasteful either. *lol* Those who put it around their car as a subtle add on during shows, can actually make their set up look pretty good. How it looks in the pic above is WAY beyond tasteful. tongue.gif But like Yuri said, alot of times it's to hide something bad or to hide something that they don't have.
