Hyundai Elantra Forum The Hyundai Elantra Forum. Later models (96-up) of this 4-door share their Beta engines and chassis with the Hyundai Tiburon. Earlier Mistubishi-based Hyundai Elantras (92-95) are perfect candidates for the popular 4g63t motor swap, which turns the Hyundai Elantra into a real sleeper. Sweet. Thankx brendan for your DIY, helped a bunch.

here's some pics.

Fuel tank cover panel

Virgin fuel tank

The feedline(and yes it sprays gas like a artery)

Yummm....93 good year, vintage i beleive?

After bending frame to get it to fit, here's the comparisons. And the new walbro's have their little baggie so that it'll allow the floater to work properly.

Sweet, after the car actually started up 3 times wink

A 95 Elantra! The sending unit and fuel pump are located separately. The sending unit is accessible from the back seat while the pump is not. The only way to access it is either to cut out the sheet metal (not practical) or drop the tank.
