Default 00' elantra kit and taillights

does anyone know when kore is bringing the 00' body kit for the elantra, and how much it will cost; also, any thoughts on where to find clear taillights, even if it means paying a little more

Not sure about KORE's body kit, but you can check out places like SR and HDK. As far as clear lights go, no one offers anything as far as that goes. HDK MIGHT have them, but all they are, are stock lenses that were opened up and modified to look like altezza's. You could probably do a better job yourself with your own tail lights. Otherwise, your other options for custom lights are:

- shave them and mold in different lights
- shave them and install small LED bars
- "body color" paint a custom design over them
- paint them with night shades or other specialty light paint
- install vinyl over them

Good luck...

Like Visions suggested...you could just tint them! I tinted my taillights with Nite Shades taillight tint and it looks great. Throw on a few layers of glossy clear coat and buff the hell out of 'em--and you've got a sweet-looking mod that only cost you $20!
