it would cost somewhere around $40,000USD just in parts, minus shipping.
the other option would be to buy the Accent WRC for $128,000.00! i didn't think so either. A WRX is the best way to go when it comes to 4WD sedans.

I doubt it would seriously be 40k in parts alone.
All you need is a DSM full rear end, that's about $2000
Plus you'll want mods to support your expectations:
Coilovers ~ $1000
Various bushings: $120
Linkages/arms/etc: $1000
Delete/relocate gas tank: $300 (~$700 w/ fuel cell)
G2 Eclipse drive shaft: $500
You'll also need a dohc motor, a beta2 can be had for under $500 if you pick it up. +100-150 for the wiring harness and ecu
Tucson (i4 awd) 5 speed manual - $650 And highly doubtful that you'll find one local, they are VERY rare, so +150 s/h
Rebuild kit: $400
Engine mounts and other goodies: ~$250
Lower compression pistons: $550
Socks Stage1 Turbo kit: $2500
Front coilovers: $1000
Other front suspension reinforcement: $1000
Front axles: $200
There's still a bunch of other crap, but that's just the tip of the iceberg assuming you have a lot of welding experience and are pretty firm on you engine knowledge. In reality expect at minimum another 2 grand in miscellaneous expenses IF everything goes 110% according to schedule. So IN THEORY one can make an Accent like a Subbi for around $14,520. And this is all in US dollars based on US part availability and shipping to the continental US, which directly translated is 709,250£S.
