Why wont Hyundai release a turbo accent?

Since the Veloster is doing so bad in sales, I think Hyundai should release a turbo Accent. I think it would sell better than the Veloster because you would have a functional trunk and a 4 door.

The accent is the bottom of the line. They don't want to increase sale price any more than necessary and even in volume you're talking about $500-1000 per unit.

I think a 1.3l turbo Accent will happen eventually.

lets see how this hyundai truck does

the cafe standards will push for more mpgs

they will get an ecoboost style engine. 1.0 with a small turbo to get 140hp.
