i forgot about EF sonata even having a v6, they're so slow haha. NF would probably still beat you out though. I have a mostly stock beta LC and i'm almost certain my momma's NF is faster having driven both. your year accent may be lighter. I also have all AC components removed. I think biggest weight reduction after that is passenger seat and the backrest of the backseat, that thing is HEAVY

what ecu are you running??? im running the beta ecu, if your running a 1.6 or something your not making full power as compared to using a beta ecu..

also i think the sound dampening under the carpet was equal if not more to seat and brackets lol.. that bag weighed an easy 45lbs if not more it was some heavy sh*t lol but frustrating removing...

edit...
http://www.dragtimes.com/Hyundai-Son...lip-13876.html (faster stock time i could get proof of) if thats tru then it be close as i ran pretty much the exact same time... the rest were mid 15s... so i think id still beat 80% of the drivers with the nf sonata.... tongue.gif

04 BetaII w/cvvt and matching ECU. I've yet to go to the track so I can't be sure. My perceptions could all be relative. the NF might just FEEL faster to me because it's smooth and for some reason heavy cars just feel like they go faster for me. I won't doubt your numbers or experiences, they're more solid than how fast i feel like something drives haha.

project 12 seconds is going to commence over the next 3-4 months.. starting in one week..

im putting in a low comp beta 1 with 16g and 550cc injectors got my fic wired and running.. so then real number will be made lol i cant wait for the track to throw me out lol...(no roll cage seat or harness)

If it's an NHRA track you don't need a roll bar until you're 11.99 or quicker.

Haha, yeah the 2.5 is slow. The 3.5 however is not at all slow.
