Removing cat ?
Just wondering if I remove my cat, which one should I remove ? I have a 2k accent. The one in the middle of the car or the one at the headers ??? I'm looking for sound and a bit of hp (ha ! if its possible tongue.gif)

it is against USA Federal Law to remove or even relocate a functional cat converter. Check within canada to see what your laws are.
But if you WERE to install a set of headers...the up front unit would have to go, and that would give you the best HP gains.

I'm not sure on the accents, but on the Tiburons, the resonator is also a restrictor, and a pretty bad one. It drops the pipe diameter from 2" down to 1.5" inside the resonator. This provides backpressure for the engine.
If you remove this, you will probably loose low end torque, but you should gain top end power. I would only reccomend doing this on a 5-speed, and the autotragic needs the low end power.
