Hyundai Accent Forum The Hyundai Accent Forum. Hyundai's little champ. While the Hyundai Accent and Hyundai Excel may be small, they respond very well to aftermarket modifications and is among the favorites for Hyundai tuners.

hey did all that sh*t show up correctly ? i have been looking up emissions info lately as well for my 2000 tib. ive had a check engine light on for a few months now, says its an intake leak, but i dont have a leak in the intake, nor the hoses in the engine bay... and she idles fine. also my CEL went off for 2 weeks after being on for months... i was siked! but then it came back.

also that previous post is for code 0441 for an 2005, 1.6 Accent. should be the same emissions system as other years... no?

grabbed some freeze frame data for you guys, thanks again for the help. everyone here has been incredibly helpful. its great to finally talk to some other hyundai owners who know their stuff.

Fuel System 1: CL

Fuel System 2: CL-Fault

Calculated Load: 4.31%

ECT: 107ºF

STFT B1: 0%

LTFT B1: 0.78%

MAP: 8.86 inHg

Engine RPM: 1040

Speed: 0 mph

some of the items here i'm not sure what they acronyms stand for...if anyone wants to enlighten me that would be wonderful mostly just the ECT, STFT and LTFT i'm not sure. everything else makes sense to me with the exception of there being 2 fuel systems...i'm guessing more of an option.

ECT: Engine Coolant Temperature

STFT: Short Term Fuel Trim

LTFT: Long Term Fuel Trim

STFT is the current correction made to the factory default fuel maps. LTFT is the long term learned correction the car starts out with. So your car increases fuel by 0.78% above the factory map by default when started, and as of this freeze frame no additional correction is required.

Our Tib's LTFT is +29% to +32%. My 03 Accent is usually +10%ish. STFT varies as the car runs.

took a quick test of the PCSV, applied 25psi air to it....held just fine. valve doesn't appear to be passing if it can handle that! no breaks in the hoses either. time to get at the charcoal filter i thinks.
