Im preparing to do the beta swap, but the thing is that i just bought a new clutch for my accent 1.5L and would want to keep it in for the swap (i'l be using the 1.5L accent trans) and i heard the clutch wont fit on the elantra flywheel, but can i mount my accent flywheel onto the elantra engine ?

any answer would be greatly appreciated.

 

Nope, if i remember the accent is a 5 bolt and the beta is a 6 bolt. I just know it will not fit. You might want to think about returning the clutch if unused.

 

cant, its been on my accent for about 2-3 weeks but now another question, if im going NA, will a stock scoupe turbo clutch be good enough ?

 

Thats what im using. Not issues so far.

tbh if you want to get tricky get a getz/click gearbox and put the x3 accent 2nd gear in - that way you'll get a higher ratio for 1st, a lower 5th and a final drive of 4.1 ish
failing that just use a MC gearbox

Getz 1300: 3.615, 1.95, 1.37, 1.061, 0.825 FD = 4.056
putting the 2nd gear in makes it:
3.615, 2.053, 1.37, 1.061, 0.825, 4.065 FD
