Wow. I'm in the same process. I want dual exhaust realy bad. I just didn't know how to mount or make it. So how did you mount the drivers side under the car. Can you put up some pix of this?

Looks awesome. I like the tips you have, what's the price on them?

How's the sound?

Oh another question, is the drivers side working or is it just for looks?

Impressive fabrication but IMO with as useless as dual exhaust is on a 4 cylinder if you want the look just mount a second tip on the driver's side. It will be 0% more useful with it hooked up.

polished tips will look nice, but that 90 degree bend to the driver's side won't help much (if at all) with performance. i assume the muffler is before all this pipework? i'm really glad you didn't do dual muffler too, especially on a 4-banger. for looks, nice job

Do you have your exhaust going through your suspension? on the 4th pic is looks like your not going up over the back beam.

1. yes this has zero affect on pefromance. but thats ok im going for the look besides i like getting 36-40mpg when i log 120+ miles a day just getting back and forth to work.

2.I actually did consider the dummy tip but i wanted it to atleast be connected to the exhaust

3.during testing with the single and dual setup (yes i built both see my cardomain site page 8) i found ther was a slightly differant and better sound with the duals(probably an intercooled affect).

4. the tail pipe runs over the control arm just like the oem but the cross over pipe runs just behind the brace for the rear suspension.

5. the mounts are on the crossover pipe and connect to the oem muffler mounts. the welds support the rest of the weight since its only pipes and no mufflers.

6.yes the mufflers is next to the resonator under the driver seat. i actually moved the resonetor closer to the disconnect and put in a glass pack behind it. this gives it a nice deep tone. no buzzing, no raspyness, no bumble bee in a can sound, and not to loud. theres a newer civic in my area with headers and a catback and it sounds horible and much louder than mine. the trick is keep the resonator this gets rid of the anoying sounds.

7. the tip in the pic is a 3" slash cut and was just a test fit. i dont have tips yet because im still shopping around

for more pics see my cardomain site pages 4 or 5 and page 8

if you want to go fast this mod wont help it will actualy add about 5 lbs. just remember the faster your car is the speed limit remains the same.
