I have a 1995 Hyundai Scoupe LS ..1.5L Alpha.. naturally aspirated. My engine sputters when i hit the gas if it has sat over night..or out in the parking lot 8 hours while i'm at work...After it reaches about 1500-2000 rpms on the tach it quits supttering and accelerates smoothly until you drop back down below 1500 and it does it again on a hit on the gas.. after i drive about ..1 mile down the road the car runs just fine... ..i've knowticed my tailpipe is black..as the front of the vehcile i park in front of is also ..Ooops .. ... My Car does not use much oil.. (less than 1/2 qt every 3000 miles) so i dont believe the black is oil ... .. it gets about 30 miles a gallon ..which is about 5 mpg less than i was getting before i put bigger wheels ... i've changed spark plugs to NGK and wires.. and did not seem to help..old plugs looked good no carbon build up etc... Mechanics are fumbling for answers.. and computer shows clean... ... so now you see my problem ..suggestions are welcome!!!

also i am curious how hard it would be to swap a 1.5L Alpha Accent engine into my scoupe.... The top end is very interchangeable.. but the tranny/block etc dont interchange i believe.. ??? suggestions on that would also be appreciated..
