Default My brothers 95 Accent Red Or Random or Cheuk YAM or anyone

OK before I get "HEY SEARCH DUH" I did that and NO there is no information.

So anyway. My brother has a 95 accent and the engine is in ruff shape (he and maintence are two things that don't got together)

Well any if this works I want to buy it from him and do the folowing.

2.0 beta drop
auto to maual conversion using a tibby 5 speed

Minium I need the whole trannie, beta block and Ecu plus incedentials but will the 2.0 drop in.

If so I want to make a race car out of it (go nuts on the engine ETC, Repaint it and just have a non daily sports car. He gets money and I get to spend my dogs dog food money

I know there is alot to this in general but those two things would be first and go from there.

Thanx in advance guys.
YEa I edited it

Man that is rough. Accents only started production in '95 eek! .

Is it a '95+ Accent or an Excel. It would make a slight difference, just in case wink

You should be able to pick up a used beta with ECU and tranny for under $1000. Mounting it and hooking it up are going to be the hard parts.

Contact HVE for info or Dan from KORE. Both have successfully installed beta engines into accents and will know the complete list of what needs to be done and what parts you will need.

Also, I am not sure that you can use the Tibby's Ecu. Being the 95 Accent was an OBD I and the Tib's is a II. So you will prolly have to run a whole new wire setup for this. But everything else should be pretty much straigh foward just as the the 97 swap KORE did.

The wiring looms from the Alpha will not fit the beta engine, and the ECU's will not "swap".

I figured what I would do would get the ecu from the Junkyard and Order a new harnes from Hyundai.

What im just wondering is will it require an engine adaptor kit or a tranny adaptor or will the just fit in. Maby go with a 5 speed from another accent but I like the ratio of the tibs more. This should be interesting.

Once I know how tricky horking the engine and tranny in I will go from there.

You will need some form of engine/tranny mount trickery for it to work. HVE/Dan will know exactly what is required.

Get the wireing harness off of a used tibby, if possible, get one with the motor and tranny. It will be much cheaper.

hell, just getting the front clip (A pillar forward) may be your best bet.
