Default Getz engine Accent. Fuel Lines.

Hey, i have a low mileage getz engine in my accent.

The Accent had a fuel return rail.

The getz as normal Single feed.

Can i just block up the Return on the accent ?

If i leave it open the fuel will just evaporate ?

If you leave a fuel line open . . . the car might turn into one big carbon footprint. If you are converting the engine to a non-return fuel system, at least block off the return line!

(unless somebody else knows better. That's just right off the top of my head where I remember being on fire one time with gasoline as the fuel so... )

Swap the accent fuel rail over to the getz engine, job done

You realise that the return line actually flows quite a bit of fuel, right?

over 80% of accent in uk don't use Fuel Returns.

I got rid of my engine about 2 years ago or else i would of swapped it over.

Every single LC 00-03 listed on ebay isn't fuel returned. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_tr...at=0&_from=R40

Something weird is most of fuel rails in that link have 3 mounting points. Mine as only 2.

will a Beta Fuel rail fit accent ?

No it won't. However an X3 fuel rail ought to fit, and they were definitely all return fuel systems.

But X3 fuel rail don't bolt to my manifold. They also have no support for the injector harness.

I think im getting mixed up with the vapor return for the vapor canister behide rear bumper.
