Hyundai Accent Forum The Hyundai Accent Forum. Hyundai's little champ. While the Hyundai Accent and Hyundai Excel may be small, they respond very well to aftermarket modifications and is among the favorites for Hyundai tuners.

Reason For Refusal Of Vehicle Certificate

001 Brake Pedal Anti-Slip Worn.

So they failed my whole car on a worn Brake rubber where you put your foot. Bare in mind. Most car's have all Aluminum/Steel pedals

How much does it cost to buy an aftermarket rubber?

1£+/-?

I've had a car fail because the power steering reservoir cap was loose

There is no motivation for an inspection station to pass you, when they are making $60-$90 off every reinspection.

No what it was. in UK your covered to drive a vehicle to go to main Test without tax or mot ect.

So now im gonna have pay around $400 for Vehicle tax and ect. So i can drive back there to show them a piece of rubber.

So i ignore retest for the rubber and lose $60 (The test fee)

Or go back there for sake of $5 rubber that costs me like $400 in car fee's Because i have about 10 days for retest and i never had the money to fork out everything this week. So was hoping it pass.

So u can see why it's alittle bit of pain in ass ( i wasn't actual complaining because of rubber) lol
