Default Exhaust resonator

Has anyone with an Accent (perferably 2000+) removed their exhaust resonator. I want to do it, but, I am a little worried that it will be too loud.

I want the extra sound, but, I don't want it to be too much.

Don't be a chicken. Remove it. If it is too much, put it back.

Take the resonator off. Once you get used to the extra noise you'll forget all about it-unless you get headers then that'll be an entirely different story.

I just got my exaust resonator taken off today on my 2k3 tib. And there is a slight change in sound (havent put different muffler on YET). It does sound better though...has a deep growl now.
I'd say it was worth the 20 bucks I payed. smile.gif
