Dual oil catch can setups

Why do you need one? Boosted? Do you have alot of blow by cause your motor is hurt? I am boosted making tons of power, have zero blow by, just turned both my pvc sto breather. And on the breather side i enlarged it to match the other pvc. Now i used a 10 dollars ebay aluminum can put a filter there to catch the oil particles (if any), put two 1/2" fittings on the side, now i have a breather setup for 14 dollars, that more than suits my needs?
