well it does look the same from that perspective are you including the flex pipe?

No, not including the flex pipe that's just a pic from when I installed my header. If you wanted the entire downpipe also I would throw it in for $25 plus the additional shipping.

are headers even worth it for that much? im trying to build a turbo project but id rather boost a beta than the stock alpha

If you're going to go turbo in the future a header probably isn't worth it.

idk how far in the future its going to be but eventually ya i figured. but getting another manifold is almost the same as headers so either way its expensive.

Yeah. The hidden costs in buying a header aren't there with the manifold, but if you can get around those hidden costs it's probably worthwhile. Getting a new cat, some pipes bent to match, and new O2 sensor to get my header actually into the car cost me something like $500 extra. The manifold comes with an O2 sensor (I couldn't get it out) and the cat.

But yeah, a header isn't a bad mod if it was I wouldn't have bought one. Unless you're going to bolt it in and live with the CEL on all the time you'll need a cat. Also, if you have emissions testing it could cause issues depending on how lenient they are where you live.

i just need to pass soon, ill be good for another year or so would JB weld be enough of a quick fix to clear the light. the light doesnt bother me but they wont pass when its on.

I have never tried to use JB Weld on exhaust so I'm not sure.
