Default Coil over sleeves

How beyond crappy would my car handle if I tossed coil over sleeves on it (not real coil overs), but swapped out the springs with quality ones like Eibach or H&R? They would be partnered with good shocks obviously like KYB.

I've tried to track down 'good shocks' for the LC Accent. Koni has sadly stopped making the Yellows for this car. What do you plan on using? I already have H&R springs and dont want to install them until I have better shocks.

I'd look for someone with old stock of the Koni yellows, or make other inserts work. Someone years ago welded threaded strut tops from an AE-86 onto his Accent struts and used AE-86 replacement cartridges.

Using AE86 parts is not a bad idea, plentiful and cheap with similar weight, however very different weight distribution. Actually my Accent handles very similarly to my old 86, one of the reason I like it so much.
