Everyone's definition of expensive varies. What's your price range?
How much space are you willing to take up?
What kind of music do you listen to? It'll effect what components would work best for you.

listen to rap
space isnt really an issue with the hatch and i know amps are expensive as hell but really dont want to spend over 400

Get a ported box and a Kicker S15L5 or a S15L7 and power it with a Rockford Fosgate T10001BD if you can scrape together the money. Shouldn't be too much over $400 for the set off of ebay.
Or talk to kingpinelectronics and he'll give you some options for inexpensive decent quality setups.

I would have to agree on the 15 for rap but if u listen to a mix of dif music I'd go with a 12. The setup 187sks is talkin bout will pound pretty hard in your little hatch. Make sure you buy quality wiring and do it right, it makes a big difference. Also make sure you have a fuse on your power wire.. cheap insurance.
