when i get home sometime in the very near future, my car will have been sitting for over 6 months. I disconnected the postive terminal from the battery so it wouldnt be dead when i get home. It hasn't been started once. Which is stupid, i know. Last time i went to iraq, i left it alone and had my wife drive it once or twice a month. So i know there are going to be a few issues and i'm going to definitely inspect everything.
any suggestions of what i should do, i'm sure i might over look a lot of things in the excitement of being back.

6 month? shouldn't be any issues, just let the engine warm up for about 10 minutes on the first start to let all the fluids move aournd. Once done, empty the fuel tank and get some new fuel into the car.

yeah, fluids are a given.
I'll drive the ten miles to the place where i usually change it, that should be good enough.

You can get some fuel stabilizer ( http://www.goldeagle.com/sta-bil/ ) rather than waste the gas left in the tank.
