Hyundai Accent Forum The Hyundai Accent Forum. Hyundai's little champ. While the Hyundai Accent and Hyundai Excel may be small, they respond very well to aftermarket modifications and is among the favorites for Hyundai tuners.

Default Now I need to know what goes where

well I was outside earlier with my daughter messing with the accent, I sat her up on the hood of the car while I crawled underneath to un hang the exhaust. I was under there about 10 minutes and when I came back up she had my wiring harness markers all off and stuck to her shirt. mad.gif She's only 2 and loves stickers but now I have no Idea what sensors are what or where they might go. Does anyone know which is which or have pics labeling the sensors or am I going to have to figure this SH*T out on my own?

What was marked? Bare cut wires for splicing or wires with connectors?

just the wires with the connectors. The only one I'm sure of is the maf sensor. It's just a PITA to try to figure which connector goes on what one at a time if they aren't marked.

What i have figured out on the accent is that the plug will only plug into their mate. Most of the connectors are diff from eachother. Just plug it in and if it fits then your golden. I did that once and this is how I figured it out. Just plug it in and if it fits then move on to the other one. Also the length of the harness should only go to the plug and it should be any shorter or longer.

If you can get me a pix of your engine bay with the connectors I can try to lable them.

Hope this helps.

Yeah except for the injectors and coil packs you should be okay, and webtech should have schematics showin what colored wires go where I think.
