For those times when some noobie wants to know how much clearance there is around the engine after an Accent gets a Beta engine installed, I ask those of you with swaps post up pictures of your engine bay, and especially the water pump pulley-to inner fender clearance.



wheel_of_steel provides the first image. His LC Accent has an alpha transmission, three slotted mounts, and stock axles . . . and enough room to slip a credit card between the pulley and the fender.

 

I will try and get a pic up later but I have more room then that, basically enough to literally squeeze belts on and off.

 

Where can i get a solid mount like that from?

 

you have to make it, i did mine using the Accent's mount and a new piece of square stock drilled to the beta config.
