To some extent yes, Dopeskills...but it's nothing a set of adjustible shocks, pillow ball assys. stabaliser links and a good feel for the handling you want can't solve man...no-one ever said that tuning a car would have no ramifications.

The 2.0L swap to an Accent is a very nice mod.
I saw a fully tuned stripped NA 2.0L Accent outrun a 400 hp turbocharged SM5 (Maxima body) at the drag races yesterday.
With a nicely built 2.0L Beta and a small shot of nitrous in an Accent would make a very nice sleeper.

the 2.0 really doesn't weigh any more than the accent motor, It probably wouldn't be very noticeable. especially if you put aftermarket lowering springs on it which are stiffer to begin with. but the power difference on the other hand would be very noticeable.

From the last numbers I saw, the 2.0L Beta with tranny weighes about 100lbs more than a 1.5L Alpha with tranny.
Hell, just the short blocks themselves are a 50lb difference (weighed both of them in my garage).

back to the ? you can always use the factory turbo from a scoupe and that will be much less than any turbo kit!
Random with the 1.5 alpha you need engine Trans and compter to do the swap but what about the axles are they going to fit the 2.0 trans???
