altering compression on the accent

If you're in San Diego and don't know about all the junk yards in Chula Vista and further south, you are seriously missing out. It would surprise me a great deal if there were no Betas down there.

I looked for months! lol There was a couple guys down in the area that would go down for themselves seamed like every other weekend and nothing, well there was a couple but they wanted $1,200 at ecology for one and there was a spot near there that had one around $950 both had 70k+

the 950 one was 130 something off an 02 Elantra. I also just didnt have that an=mount of money to spend at one time. $200 here and there was doable. However I did get the car to around 7-9 psi and ended up making 160 whp but i was super rich and untuned. Should have used a fuel regulator and a proper ECu, could have had 170-175 easy with that. :/



Oh and about the 1.5 rods...honestly i don't think anyone has tried but from what i can remember I think the rods are the same its the Bore thats different between the 1.5 and 1.6, in other words its the pistons you would want to replace not the rods. rods are cast iron i belive. Don't quote me on that though.
