Note that there are members here getting similar fuel economy on much-larger, much more powerful engines, in heavier cars. I am not impressed. If a random sumdood in his garage can beat your million dollar engine engineering team, you fail . . . I'm looking at you, global auto industry!
You can achieve higher than the rated MPG in any car if you drive it properly. If I drove my grandparents's V6 Altima like my grandmother does, I'd get very good fuel economy. But I can drive my Accent like a complete hooligan and still get about 28MPG in the city. I'd rather have the smaller car and drive the crap out of it than have to baby a bigger engine.
lol... I've seen 35mpg in my Genesis Coupe over a 35 mile 55-65MPH country road... but for some damn reason, I get 17mpg on every tank. :paranoid: booost happy.... I CAN get great mileage if I wanted to, but if that was my primary concern I would have bought a 3-liter 98hp smart car
