Yup, if you get serious ill give you a hand on the coil set up as I dont know if anybody else was aware of this fact nor do I believe it will be found in a search. People were havin issues cause the coil plugs are a mirror image of each other so they will only fit one coil. If I remember correctly If you plug in the 1.6L plugs (or 1.5L) into 2.0 coils it will basically be 180 degrees out on the spark. You have to depin and swap wires from coil 0ne plug to coil two plug and vice versa.

As far as the rest of the sensors go, if your going with the 1.6L ECM then follow the electrical portion of the 1.6L swap link I posted.

Read, think, read again, then come back with a specific intelligent question and the people who have done it before will be happy to help. If you refuse to go to some trouble to read what they/we have written, you will probably start getting flamed.

Haha wow, so you are just under the assumption that I know how to use the Site correctly. Loose the attitude man, if I have a question I will ask it. No (and I mean NO!!!!!!) question is a stupid question. I get all the replies I need, there's always that one guy with the attitude. So next time you feel the need to comment, do me a favor....

Don't. Thanks to all the others for the help it was much appreciated.

Wow. What's with all the dumb asses with attitude online lately? I guess it's pretty hard to see that search box at the top of the page. ANY question I have ever had has been answered by the search box. These aren't new cars, the 2.0L swap is not a new swap, the info is there, take 5 minutes and READ. If you have to ask 1000 questions, maybe an engine swap is something you shouldn't be trying. If you have a question and can't find the answer to it after searching for a few minutes, then by all means ask away.

I'm guessing this member is 17 or 18. They seem think they are special and feel that everyone should spoon-feed them answers. It's pathetic.

Therefore on came the questions. What's funny is I'm probably older than you and have much MUCH more

Knowledge of vehicles than you. I had some questions that needed answering( thanks to those who helped)

I don't need any smart ass comments there really childish.

G4? (that one is for you HotBlue) LOL!

I can tell you're young by your horrible grammar and spelling. Either that, or you stopped paying attention in school around grade 3.

I love how a common retort in an internet car forum fight is always "I know more about cars than you!" without even knowing what that other person does for a living...................

Oh and Pas I thought the same thng when I read that line, made me chuckle. I dont think its him though, this guy might actually be able to pull off the beta swap. Plus G4 is to busy pushing him DSM home to play on the net.

Well, that was faster than I thought it would be.

It's the Internet: we don't give a damn what you think, there ARE stupid questions (as well as horribly annoying ones) and it's a public forum. I (and the rest of us) will feel free to chime in just whenever I blinking well feel like it and you will like it or set your user preferences to "ignore" half the members who give you a hard time for being an annoyance.

edit: fixed most of the pissing contest -rep

I would like to make this swap myself. Does it require any fabrications or will the motor and tranny fall right in place?
