I found all the ways to wire up my system, except one thing... where to put that damn ground wire... where the hell do I put it? dont see any places on my car [97 tibby fx]

ok just checked(that box is heavy). anyway, i cheated, i drilled a hole and tapped it in the spare tire bay. just make sure your not near the gas tank
if you do this, try to get under the car and paint the area where the bolt comes through to prevent rust

 

I attached my ground cable to the rear strut tower bolts. Take the plastic piece off the side of the trunk where the cover hinges on and then take off the metal plate under that.

Also, under the plastic around the trunk latch are the grounding holes for the taillights. Those would obviously work good as well (my ground cable was too short).

For power, I ran the cable up through a grommet in the spare tire area and then under the carpeting and into the side of the car by where I put the ground.

 

I ran mine underneath the rear seat on the driver side there is a bolt already there al you have to do is ruff up the paint to make a good contact this was the best ground I could find without drilling etc... and the nice part about it is you only need about 6ft of cable.
