Underdrive Pulley to Replace Warped Stock Pulley?
Hey,
First off, thanks for the forum, it is much appreciated by myself and a few friends of mine. I have one question, my crank pulley is slightly warped (the belt runs from my power steering pump to said warped pulley, is this the right pulley I'm thinking of? Or am I confused?), the obx underdrive crank pulley is an option for replacing my warped one correct? Im in a bit of a pickle, here is my situation: The power steering belt has a piece of it torn off, it started squealing randomly one day so I loosened said belt a small amount, fixed the problem. But the belt is now compromised, so I need to replace it. I never use my A/C and wouldnt mind losing that as well. If i was to remove the A/c system, and repalce my current pulley with the OBX crank pulley, from what I understand I would need the 34 inch belt, re attach the belt to my alternator, and then its good to go. I'm afraid im confusing one pulley for another, if you would be willing to help me, when I get home I am going to take pictures of the pulleys in question, I would like to replace it asap.
Thanks for your time,
Josh.
