Tibby won't start: No Fuel flow, no spark
Check your grounds for a bad one. There's this guy on ClubSi who was having all kinds funky electrical problems due to a bad ground.

The KPS plug was missing two wires so I fixed that and now I have spark. But I can't get the fuel pump to pump fuel. It's getting power but probably no signal to start pumping. Where could the problem be. I have the coil pack and collum from the 2000 in it so all the wires should be fine. I wonder if there is a difference between the fuel pump off a first gen vs. a second gen.
If its getting power then the pump should work.
there is no PUMP START signal.
It just gets power or does not, like a light bulb.
so check the wirring from the connector on the top into the pump. maybe you forgot to plug the pump in eek!
or the pump is dead.

ever get it working?
I think I came across something helpful.
Lokos like the fuel pump is activating, after the starter motor begins cranking, this causes air to be sucked into the engine, causing air flow over the MAFS which sends a signal to the ecu and trips a relay sending voltage to the MFI relay, which in turn sends voltage to the fuel pump.
And so if the engine stalls, no more airflow, fuel pump shuts off.
I have expereicned that. so I am thinking this is true.
